It is with great sadness the family of the late James Absolom Winsor announces his passing at the Calder Health Care Centre in Burgeo on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the age of 81 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his children: Lillian (Gary), Betty (Ray), David (Claudette), Sandra (Audrey) and Jill (Corey; grandsons: Jamie, Jeremy, Billy and Joey; granddaughters: Stephanie and Jenny; great-grandchildren: Tristan, Katie, Jackson, and Owen, and other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Mary and John Winsor, wife, Eileen, daughter, Maxine, brother, George, and sisters, Lydia, Rebecca, Elizabeth and Violet. Friends may visit St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church in Burgeo Wednesday evening and Thursday, from where the funeral service will take place on Friday, March 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. David Taylor officiating. The interment will follow at the Community cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Fillatres Funeral Home, Corner Brook.
