HATTIE, William Lee “Bill” – age 69, passed away at home in Lower Wedgeport on March 2, 2015. Born in Yarmouth on September 10, 1945, he was the son of the late Kathleen (Hattie) Robinson. He was a bricklayer all of his working life. He loved to watch hockey and baseball and his favorite baseball team was the Baltimore Orioles. He is survived by his son, Steven Hattie (Niva Cadet); sisters, Bernadette (Bob) Bennett, Yarmouth; Becky Smith, Carleton; first wife, Rosalie Hattie, Lower Wedgeport . Besides his mother he was predeceased by his second wife, Linda Hattie; and his common-law wife, Zita Albanese. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. According to Bill’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or memorial service by his request. Donations in memory may be made to the Yarmouth S.P.C.A. We would like to thank the paramedics, the staff at emergency and the 4th floor at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital and a special thanks to Peggy Boudreau and the RCMP for the checking in on Bill at home.
