Ida Mary Cameron, age 80 of the Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow, formerly of Coalburn, passed away March 5, 2015 at the manor.
Born in Westville, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Latishia (Taylor) Morrison.
She is survived by sons: Sandy (Marilyn), Coalburn; Barry (Heather), Coalburn; Gary and Edward, both at home; a daughter Latishia Jobe, Westville; a granddaughter Jennifer Jobe, Westville; two great-grandchildren Breagh and Kyleigh Hedd; brothers, Joey, Union Centre and Edward, Riverton; sisters, Molly, Coalburn; Faye, Union Center.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert Lyon Cameron, a son Robert Daniel Barrett, brothers William Morrison, Robert Morrison, sisters: Florence Cameron, Jane Kenney, Annie Davis and Ellen Margaret in infancy.
Her remains will rest at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow for visiting from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday. Funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday from the Union Presbyterian Church, Thorburn with Rev. Jeff Lackie presiding. Burial will take place in the MacPherson’s Mills Cemetery at a later date.
