SUTHERLAND, Forrest Alexander - 85, of Caribou River, passed away March 8, 2015 in the Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow.
Born in Brule Shore, he was a son of the late James & Minnie Sutherland. Forrest worked most of his life in sawmills and then worked for Acadian Seaplants for several years.
He spent many hours working on CB radios, enjoyed long drives on his motorcycle, and listening to music.
He is survived by his wife, Eldora; son, Barry (Debbie) and their daughter, Melanie; grandsons, Scott (Tina), Jamie, and their mother, Denise.
He was predeceased by his parents, brother, Hubie; and son, Ronnie. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou, from where the Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday with Rev. Iona MacLean officiating.
Donations in his memory may be made to Parkinson Society Canada or Riverbank Cemetery.
