Age 83 of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia passed away Friday, March 6, 2015 in Hillside Pines Home for Special Care, Bridgewater Nova Scotia. Born in Campbellton, Newfoundland, he was a son of the late Lewis and Annie (Lacey) Harnett. Guy is survived by his wife Evelyn (Parsons); daughters Sandra (Byron) Flieger, Windsor , Ontario; Lori (Edward) Camacho, Thomasboro, Illinois; Paula (Larry) Hynes, Bridgewater Nova Scotia; Karen (Tom) Voigt, Cold Lake, Alberta; Cheryl Hynes, Ottawa , Ontario; son Harvey Harnett, Saint John, New Brunswick; sister Eva (Jesse) Oram, Twillingate , Newfoundland; Frances Gilbert, Pouch Cove , Newfoundland; Jean (James) White, Grand Falls, Newfoundland; Joan Harnett, Lewisport , Newfoundland; brothers Bob Harnett, Toronto, Ontario; Scott Harnett, Campbellton, Newfoundland; sister-in-law Mary-Ann Harnett, Campbellton, Newfoundland; brother-in-law Harvey (Mary) Parsons, Sudbury, Ontario; grandchildren Jonathan, Jessica, Cheryl, Judy, Denise, Allison, Shane, Renee, Colin, Tyler, Tim, Julia, Patrick, Kate and Laura; great-grandchildren Ian, Preston, Ari, Azaria, Abrielle, Addison and Kody along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Myrtle and brothers Dwight, Harry and Joe. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater Nova Scotia. Visitation will be held 10:00 to 11:00 A.M., Tuesday March 17 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater Nova Scotia followed by a memorial service at 11:00 A.M., Pastor Lynn McDormand officiating.
