Passed peacefully away on Saturday, March 7, 2015, William "Bill" Lee, aged 76 of St. John's. Predeceased by his wife Joyce (2012). Leaving to mourn his son Craig, his wife, Lori and only Grandchild Meagan; sister Eileen (Eugene). Bill was one of the first computer programmers in the province and spent most of his 35 years in Government Service with Newfoundland and Labrador Computer Services. He was an avid bowler, bowling mostly at St. Pat's Bowling Alley's in the Patrician Mixed, Commercial and Interclub Leagues. He was very involved in minor hockey in the Celtics Organization, with St. Pat's and All-Star teams. As well with Shamrock Hockey Organization, of the St. John's Minor system. Bill enjoyed camping with family and friends and spent many summers both in Avondale and then at Mountain View Park, South River. We would like to thank family friends Cathy and Rick Chafe for their assistance, love and care of dad over the last few years. We would also like to thank the staff at Callingwood Downs Seniors Home in Clarke's Beach as well as the Nursing staff of the 7th floor Medicine Unit and the Palliative Care Unit at Carbonear Hospital. Bill was a loving husband, father and grandfather, we will miss him. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Cremation has taken place Visitation will be Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa's Parish, Mundy Pond Road followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Topsail Road. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke foundation, Alzheimer Foundation or a charity near to your heart.
