BLAND, PAULINE MYRTLE
Pauline M. Bland, 82, of K.E. Spencer Memorial Home and formerly of Curry St., Moncton, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, March 8, 2015. Born in Sussex, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Katherine (Berry) Lewis.
Pauline was retired from Transport Canada and was a member of Sunny Brae Baptist Church. A great cook, her hobbies included music, especially playing the piano and singing, crafts, knitting and gardening.
Pauline will be sadly missed by her daughter, Deborah “Debbie” Hatchard (Murray) and son, James “Jim” Bland (Lynn), both of Moncton; four grandchildren, Laura Theriault (Jeremie), Sarah, Ashley and Brody; two great grandchildren, Adele and Caleb; sisters, Freda Lavoie and Marilyn Dunfield (Reece); brother, Ronald Lewis (Dorothy); several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Donald Bland (2004); her twin brother, Paul and sisters, Margaret, Mildred and Dorothy.
Resting at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), with visiting on Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service at Sunny Brae Baptist Church (85 Elmwood Drive) on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Colin Cook officiating. Reception following the service. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery, Lakeville, Westmorland Co., in the spring.
In memory of Pauline, donations to the Sunny Brae Baptist Church Building Fund or a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
