At Clinton View Lodge, Clinton, on Sunday, March 8, 2015, Miriam N. Bernard formerly of French River aged 91 years. Born in Grahams Road on March 18, 1923, daughter of the late Bert and Elva (Bernard) MacKay. Wife of the late Harold O. Bernard. Mother of Allan (Donna) Bernard, French River, Alice (Ross) Reeves, Freetown, Keith (Carol) Bernard French River, and Elva (James) Carruthers, Hamilton. Grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Sister of Mary Campbell and Laura (Duncan) Cole. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son-in-law Harold Evans, sister Charity (Fred) Bernard, and brothers and sisters-in-law Earle Campbell, Wallace Bernard, Charles (Beatrice) Bernard, Ola (John) Woods and Nina (Stanley) Brown. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Thursday from 6:30-9 p.m. Funeral Friday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10 a.m. Interment later in Geddie Memorial Cemetery, Spring Brook.
