1947 - 2015
Gail MacDonald passed away suddenly at the Moncton Hospital on Monday, March 16, 2015. Born in Yarmouth, NS, daughter of the late Bernard (Prim) and Mildred (Stroud) McKay. Gail will be sadly missed by John her husband of 45 years, two daughters: Kristen Dunsford and Michelle MacDonald, one sister Shelley McKay as well as two sisters-in-law Cathy Mainprize (Al) and Mary MacDonald. She is also survived by two nephews: Brett Chipchase and Andrew Mainprize as well as one niece Sarah Mainprize. She was predeceased by a sister in infancy. Beloved teacher who enjoyed working with her students, enjoyed gardening, handcrafts, reading, crossword puzzles, pets and anything that sparkles. A funeral service will be held at the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Friday, March 20, at 2 p.m. followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gail's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
