We regret to announce the passing of Edna Brayon, of Westmount, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital on March 22, 2015.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Angus and Johanna (MacGillivary) MacAulay. She was employed at Polysteel Atlantic Ltd.
Edna is survived by her husband of 15 years, Alvin. As well as, her sisters, Gail MacAulay, Tammy (Darren Boudreau), both of Sydney and Kelly, Cornerbrook, N.L..; brothers, William, Floyd, Angus (Marilyn), Richard and Robert (Karen), all of Sydney; nieces, Johanna, Carolyn, Nicole, Cora and Megan; nephews, Gregory and Ethan – for whom she held a special place in her heart. She is also survived by several grandnieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother in infancy.
Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, 7-9 p.m.; where services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m., Rev. James Oliver officiating. Spring burial will take place at Oakfield Cemetery.
