Irène Doiron, 81, of Résidence Castel des Flots Bleus of Cap Pelé, formerly of Dupuis Corner passed away surrounded by her family at Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC on Sunday March 22nd, 2015. Born in Dupuis Corner on June 29th, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Alyre Landry and Exelda Dupuis.
Loved by all, Irène was a caring grandmother who enjoyed seeing her grandchildren grow up. During summer, she always had beautiful flower boxes and often visited her favorite place l’Aboiteau.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Everard (Janice) of Grand Barachois, Jacques of Shediac, Martine Bastarache (Mauril) of Baie de Bouctouche; a sister: Hélèna Justason, two brothers: Norman Landry (Lorraine), Alphée Landry (Béatrice) all of Dupuis Corner; grandchildren: Jean-Marc, Patrick, Cedric, Yannic and Janie.
She was predeceased by her husband: Arsène; a brother: Aris; two sisters: Bertha and infant Maria.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funéarium Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap Pelé (577-3297). Visiting hours are Tuesday, March 24th 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 and from 7:00 to 9:00 and Wednesday, March 25th from 9:30 till departure time (10:15). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d’Avila Roman Catholic Church, 2648 Acadie Road Cap-Pelé at 10:30.
In her memory, a contribution may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
