The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, March 23, 2015, of of Shamrock, aged 87 years. Loving wife of the late George Hughes. Born on October 20, 1927, in Emyvale, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary (McCaffery) Quinn. Loving mother to Georgina Clow (Ivan), Meadow Bank; Edwin (Lynn), Shamrock; Pat (Carolyn), Miscouche; Cathy Larkin (Bim), Shamrock; Noreen Symborski (Brian), Lethbridge, AB; Joan Hughes, Fort McMurray, AB; Marie Caseley (Gerald), Moncton, NB; Darlene Bailey (Ron), Kincardine, ON; and Terry (Marissa), London, ON. Also lovingly remembered by her 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Rosalie was predeceased by her infant son, John. Visitation at Kinkora Place on Thursday, March 26, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The CWL will say prayers at Kinkora Place on Thursday, March 26, at 6:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at St. Malachy's Church, Kinkora, on Friday, March 27. Interment later in the parish cemetery. Donations may be made to Community Connections, Summerside, or St. Malachy's Cemetery Fund. Arrangements entrusted to Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora.
