In loving memory; passed away while in Trent Valley Lodge on Friday, March 27, 2015, at 76 years of age.
Daughter of Peter Doublet and Nellie (Rose) Whalen (Doublet). Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed.
She was predeceased by loving husband John Basil (2010) and son Sean David (at birth). Mother of Catherine Kawerski (Rick), Brenda Shannon (Dave), Anndalyn Ketellapper (Haico) and John Schaller (Patti). Proud grandmother to Lisa, Kevin Kelsey, David, Crystalyn, Sean, Michael and Kari. Great-grandmother to Christopher, Connor, Tyler, Hannah, Emily, Maelle and Zayne. Survived by sisters Deloris Washburn (Art), April Hawco (Kevin), brothers Kenny Doublet (Helen), Allan Doublet (Sheila), Kevin Doublet (Shirley), predeceased by Lenora Wessel (Ernie) and Sonya Doublet (Jean).
Born in Sydney, N.S., mom leaves behind sisters, brothers and many nieces and nephews. Mom loved to winter in Florida with dad by her side. She also loved to challenge her golfing "buddies" to a round of golf, bowl and play cards.
The family will receive friends at the Rushnell Funeral Centre, 60 Division St., Trenton (613-392-2111) on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 4 p.m. in the chapel for a Celebration of Yvonne’s life.
