The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Sunday, March 29, 2015, of Alyre J. LeClair of Tignish, aged 86 years. Beloved husband of Louise LeClair nee Richard. He was born in Peter Road on Sept. 30, 1928, the son of the late John and Catherine (Gaudet) LeClair. Dear father to Irma LeClair (Richard), Tignish. He is survived by brothers and sisters Thelma (late Alfred) McInnis, Yvonne (late Ray) Rennie, Roy (Judy) LeClair, Gerry LeClair (Blanche McDonald) and Ann Marie Harredan. He is also survived by sister-in-law Gloria (late Earl) LeClair and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by parents John and Catherine, siblings Loretta, Rita and Aubin in infancy, mother and father in-law Joe and Ellen Richard, brothers and sisters-in-law Lena (Sylvest) Arsenault, Raymond (Rita) Richard, Irene (Hector) Gallant, Ida (James) Handrahan, Everett (Catherine) Richard, Doris (Eddie) Cuffey and Stella (Gerard) Gaudet. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, Palmer Road, for visiting hours Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at St. Simon & St. Jude Church, Tignish, with funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations to St. Simon & St. Jude Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated. Interment will take place at a later date in the church cemetery.
