Passed away at U.S. Memorial Hospital, St. Lawerence, on Tuesday March 24, 2015 Harry. C. Butt of Grand Bank, age 84 Years. Predeceased by parents; George & Elizabeth Butt, sister ; Becky Avery, brother; Fred Butt, brother-in laws; Frank Beck, Clarence Avery, & Edward Douglas. Leaving to mourn; wife Vera, son Leonard (Shelia) of Grand Bank, daughters; Marilyn (Cyril) of Grand Bank, Annie (Darin), of Halifax Nova Scotia, step daughter; Edith Grandy of St. John’s. 5 grandchildren; Jason, Jamie (Kandace), Amanda (Wayne), Tyler (Jessica), & Trevor. 2 great grand children; Wayne Meade, & Kendra Forsey. 4 sisters; Mary Beck of Springdale, Jane (Les) Howell of Grand Prairie, Georgie (Cephas) Noseworthy of Grand Bank, Ester Butt of Grand Bank. 1 brother Norman (Miriam) of Canso, Nova Scotia. Brother-in law; Bill (Amelia) Grandy North West Territories, sister-in law; Annie Douglas of Mount Pearl. A special fur buddy; Holly, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives, & friends. Funeral Service was conducted by Major Phyllis Blundell-Colbourne & Capt. Reid Colbourne on Friday March 27, 2015 at 2pm from the Grand Bank Salvation Army Citadel. Music was provided by The Salvation Army Band, & The String Band Internment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery Grand Bank. Pall Bearers were; Len Butt, Tyler Butt, Trevor Butt, Jamie Forsey, Wayne Meade (Jr.), & Bill Scott. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Warren’s Funeral Home Grand Bank.
