Survived by his wife, Judith, of Round Bay, daughters, Cindy Lee Talisman, grandson, Teddy of N. Carolina; Ronny Ann Brown (David), grandchildren David, Katie and Colin of Florida; Julie Anna Forbes (Jim), grandchildren Shay and Rowan of Halifax. Also survived by sister, Joan Kimmons, brother, Reve Hasen. Predeceased by son-in-law Thad Talisman. Fred had a love for the outdoors; camping, fishing and boating were among his favourites. He had a lifelong interest in coin collecting and enjoyed working with wood. He also loved to travel, especially long road trips and holidays in Florida. He was very proud to see his daughters all receive extended educations and pursue their dreams. Fred spent his younger years travelling in the Navy and Air Force and later retired from the provincial government. Cremation has taken place and a seaside service will be held at a later date.
