Florence Lillian (Kempt) Dow age 85 of Nappan, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the High-Crest Springhill Nursing Home.
Born in Springhill, she was the daughter of the late Wesely and Lillian (Reynolds) Kempt.
Florence is survived by her husband of 69 years Leslie Dow; daughters Brenda (Jordon) Mitchell of Nappan, Ruth Ann Dow(Shayne Speight) of Amherst and Clair Dow (Bobby-Joe Matthews) of Riverside Albert, NB; also survived by brother John (Sylvia) Kempt of Nappan; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Florence was predeceased by 2 sons Steward and Gordon; Sisters Loniva Kempt and Margaret Weatherbee and brother Fred Kempt.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home (98 Church St, Amherst, 902-667-9906).
There will be no visitation or funeral by request.
