Passed peacefully away at Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, Burin, NL, on Saturday, March 28th, 2015, VERA VIOLA HODDER of Creston South, NL, in her 64th year. Leaving to mourn her loving husband Ralph, sons Jamie, Ontario, Jason (Erin), Bay Roberts, daughters Jackie Hodder (Terry), Marystown, Judy Hodder (Dave), St. Johns, daughter in law Darlene; 8 grandchildren, Tarah, Stephen, Stephanie, Riley, Liam, Caelan, Aedan, Nathan; Brothers Gordon Francis (Donna), Howard Francis (Ann), Boyd Francis (Joan), Glen Francis (Rebecca Hollett), Sandy Francis (Mary), sisters Rose Hooper (Dave), Joanne Taylor (Hughie), Irma Matthews (Bill), Judy Billard (Mike), Janice Taylor (Jack), special best friend Shirley Martin; and a large circle of relatives and friends.

Vera is predeceased by her parents Ernest Francis and Marguerite Foote, step father Albert Foote, son Rodney and sister Sylvia.

Lieutenants Devin and Laurie Reid conducted the Funeral Service at Peninsula Funeral Home, Creston South, on Sunday, March 29th, 2015; at 2:30 pm.

Cremation has taken place.
