Donald Michael MacDougall

MacDOUGALL, Donald Michael “Wolfman,” 84, Debert, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015, in the Debert Court, Debert.
Born in Port Hood, he was a son of the late John and Catherine (MacDonald) MacDougall.
Donald spent 27 years in the Canadian Armed Forces, and after worked for Home Hardware Distribution Centre, Debert for 10 years. He loved to go four-wheeling and also enjoyed wrestling. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 106, Debert.
He is survived by his wife, the former Mae Weatherby; sons Donald (Heather) of Oromocto, N.B., John of Greenwood, George (Stacey) of Barrie, Ont.; step-sons Earl Walsh of Truro, Leonard Walsh of Debert, Peter Walsh of Debert; step-daughters Myrna Ryan of Brookfield, Laura Lee Bulmer of Princeport; numerous grandchildren; several nieces and a nephew.
Besides his parents, Don was predeceased by his first wife, the former Nellie Smith; sisters Kaye and Florence.
No visitation by family request. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young St., Truro. A graveside service will take place at a later date in the Middle Road Cemetery, Debert. The time and day will be announced at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
