The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Western Hospital, Alberton, on Monday, March 30, 2015, of Joseph “Vincent” Martin of O’Leary, aged 73 years. Born on April 30, 1941, in Bloomfield, he was the son of the late Robert and Zella (Pineau) Martin. Loving brother to Aletha (Charlie) Monagham, Lorrianie, MacPhee, Leonard, Anne Greenan, Ronald, Jim (Pat), Teresa (Alan) Craswell, Arlene (Patrick) MacLeod and sister-in-law Lori O’Meara. Vincent was predeceased by his parents, stepfather Roy O’Meara, brothers Clair, Bobby, Bill, Roy, infant brother Hubert, sister Judy, brothers-in-law Harold and Clifford. Resting at Ferguson Funeral Chapel, O’Leary, with visiting hours on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, from 12 to 1.30 p.m., then to St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, Woodstock for Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. Interment in St. Anthony’s Church Cemetery in the spring. In memory of Vincent, memorials to St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery Fund or CNIB (P.E.I.) would be appreciated.
