It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of a beloved father, uncle and grandfather at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Saturday April 4, 2015 at the age of 87 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 61 years Anna (nee Hynes), his daughter Barbara (Philip) Turner of Corner Brook; sons: Wayne (Deborah) of Kippens, and Michael Janes of Beiurt, Lebanon; grandsons: Bryan and Kevin Turner, and Stephen and Michael Reid; also a large circle of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. He was the last surviving son of Michael and Elizabeth (nee Gillis) Quilty. He was predeceased by his infant son Bruce, parents, brothers: Michael, Alex, Arthur, Joseph, William, Cyril; and sisters: Veronica, Annie and Mary. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Monday April 6, 2015 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place from the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday April 7, 2015 at 13:30 a.m. officiated by Father Ambrose Hynes. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
