Born May 22nd, 1936 at Salmon Cove, NL, passed peacefully away on April 3rd, 2015 at his residence in St. John's, NL. Leaving his devoted wife Norma Duggan and their daughter Shauna (David) Clark and his daughters, Janet Jones, Debby (Martin Murphy), Roxanne (Ray Kenny), Cherie; and his sons Llewelyn (Diane), Joseph (Theresa), Terry (Sharon), Wade (Sarah), Jimmy (Lisa), Billy (Nancy) and their mother Shirley Luffman. Also leaving his stepson, Jonathan (Lauren) Duggan, 25 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, his sisters Ada (late Hubert) Rees, Ruth (Gerald) Slade, Minnie (late Bernard) O'Neill; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Joyce (Pat) Craig, Gloria (Ed Snow) Kevin (Nita) Byrne, Marilyn (Gerry) Adams, Gary (Brenda) Byrne and special caregiver Toni Taplin, along with nieces, nephews and a wide circle of extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Joseph (1995) and Myrtle (1990), Sister Ollie Hawco (1989), infant brother Oswald and brother George (2014). Cremation has taken place. A Visitation at Carnell's Funeral Home 329 Freshwater Rd. on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Family Service at Carnell's Memorial Chapel, 329 Freshwater Rd. on Wednesday April 8, 2015 at 11:00 am with inurnment to follow at United Church Cemetery, Bauline Line, Portugal Cove- St. Philips.
