LOCKYER, Jennie Maud – Passed peacefully away after a brief illness on Tuesday, January 20, 2009, at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, Maud Lockyer, age 88 years. Originally from Woody Island, Placentia Bay. Predeceased by her husband Earl. Leaving to mourn are her loving daughter Edna; sister Rowena (Gerald Richardson) of Gander and sister-in-law Ethel (Lockyer) of Arnold’s Cove, along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitations at Stacey’s Funeral Home, Gander on Thursday, January 22, 2009 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service on Friday, January 23, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from Stacey’s Funeral Home with interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery, Gander.
