MacKENIZE, KAREN B.
The death of Karen B. MacKenize occurred on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late William and Caroline Reddy.
She was avid bowler with the mixed league on Thursday nights, a dart player with the Sunday mixed league at Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 2 and she also enjoyed knitting.
Karen is survived by two sons Charles “Chuck” and Michael “Mike” (Debbie) both of Saint John, two daughters Gail (Ian) Penman of Saint John and Janet Murray of Woodstock, NB, 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by husbands Harold Everett Murray and Charles Gordon MacKenize, sons Vernon Murray, Wayne Murray and Paul Murray.
Resting at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue with visitation on Thursday, April 9, 2015 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Friday, April 10, 2015 at Castle “Fallsview” Chapel, 309 Lancaster Avenue at 1:30 pm. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.
