Lieu de naissance : Sydney

Lieu de décès : Sydney
Date de décès : 4 avril 2015

It is with great sadness and fond memories that we announce the passing of Mark MacDonald, 51, of Sydney.
Mark passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2015, in the Pallative Care Centre in Sydney following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Sydney, Mark was the son of John 'Dicker' MacDonald and Joanne (Flood) MacDonald of Englishtown, C.B.
There is no ink which could be placed on this paper that could express the undying love that Mark had for his family, friends and life. So we will not attempt to try, but those who were fortunate enough to have known him felt it everytime they were in his presence.
Mark will be sadly missed by his loving wife Diana (Krszwda) MacDonad; daughters, Alyssa Marie, Vanessa Dawn; brothers, Kenny (Renata), Stephen (Cheryl), Terry (Judy), Ian (Jessica); the light of his life — his granddaughter Rhilee Dawn. Also his godchildren, Megan and Brandon; his mother-in-law Myrna Krszwda; his brothers-in-law, Wally (Emily), Kenneth (Lorna), Vernon (Cheryl) and sister-in-law Karen (Rob MacAulay).
Mark is also survived by serveral nieces and nephews who he admired and they referred to him as their favourite uncle.
Following his studies at Sydney Academy and Marconi Community College Mark pursued his passion for food in the culinary arts program. Having his skills under a number of top chefs across the island. Eventually leading to his catering of many functions and special events including the popular Englishtown mussel festival in which he was most proud.
Mark was employed at Shannex, Harbourstone for the past 15 years up until his diagnosis where he made many lifelong friendships.
In his youth Mark was an excellent althelete especially in hockey playing through minor, high school and junior competitive teams establishing many frienships along the way. Music was a huge part of Mark's life, being able to jam with his friends and family. Especially at his most favourite place "the bungalow" in Englishtown.
Respecting Mark's wishes there will be no visitation the celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday April 10, at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at a later date in Englishtown.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mark's memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit or the Canadian Cancer Society.
A very special thanks to Dr. Ron MacCormick, Dr. David Eughan, Dr. Elena Garcia Delbusto, Dr.John Ritter and the many amazing nurses in palliative care who helped Mark through his illness.
"Yeah, Keep your eyes on the road, your hands upon the wheel, Keep your eyes on the road, your hands upon the wheel. Yeah, we're going to the Roadhouse We're gonna have a real Good time"
