It is with broken hearts that we, the family of James Gordon 'Jim' Jones, 75, announce his passing on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in New Waterford, Jim was a son of the late James and Catherine (Bennett) Jones.
Until retirement, he was employed in the maintenance department of Keddy’s Motor Inn, Sydney.
Surviving are his loving wife, Patricia (Burke); daughters, Kimberley (Dale Richardson) and Karen (Bill Wilson), New Glasgow; son, Jimmy, Sydney; stepdaughter, Shauna MacNeil, Sydney; stepson, Greg MacNeil, Sydney; sisters, Mary Jones, Sydney and Elaine (Allan) MacDonald, Hamilton, Ont.; brother, Alex (Charmaine), Sydney; mother-in-law, Patricia Burke and the Burke family; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, aunts and uncles.
Jim was predeceased by his brother, Allan and son-in-law, Glenn Easton.
There will be no visitation or service. Interment will be held at a later date.
