BARTLETT, GRETA MARGARET LOIS (FLINN)
The passing of Greta Margaret Lois (Flinn) Bartlett of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Carl Frederick Bartlett occurred on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 14, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Georgina (Smith) Flinn.
Greta loved to watch game shows and professional wrestling.
Greta is survived by her daughter, Anne Jones of Lincoln, NB and son, Jim Bartlett (Sheila) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Carrie Wiggins (Steve), Eddie Bartlett, Kirk Jones and Kim McCoy (Chris Kendrick); great grandchild, Mackenzie Kendrick; sister, Glenna Jones (Eugene) of Lake George, NB; brothers, Eddie Flinn and Glen Flinn (Annie) both of Fredericton, NB and Stanley Flinn of Kingston, ON; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by infant daughter, Margaret Ellen Bartlett; grandson, Dana Jones; sister, Marie Wagg; brothers, Lawrence, LeRoy and James Flinn.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Monday, April 13, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in Alexander Gibson Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
