The death of Doris Mary Louise Dionne, 91, of Amherst and formerly of River Hebert, Pugwash, and Toronto, occurred on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre. Born in River Hebert on October 30, 1023, Doris was a daughter of the late William and Selina (Landry) Richard.
Arrangements are under the care and supervision of Furlong~Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church Street, Amherst (902-667-8777) from where a time of visitation will be held on Monday, April 13, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be at St. Paul The Apostle Church, River Hebert, Tuesday, April 14, 2014 at 11 am. Burial will be held in the spring.
Donations in memory of Doris may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of one's choice.
