Elsie M. Elsie was known for her mischievous sense of humour and superior fashion sense. She loved crossword puzzles, cryptoquotes and she was always up for entertaining and fun times. She was very proud to have fulfilled her childhood dream of being a teacher, and taught school in Curry's Corner, Kempt Shore, Summerville and Windsor. Most of all, Elsie loved spending time with her friends and family, sometimes just for tea or coffee sitting around her kitchen table in Cheverie, going to the dances in Burlington, teasing the staff at Sobeys, or providing treats for her friends at Gladys Manning. She was predeceased by her husband, James Archibald Harvie; her sisters, Lucy, Edith, Beatrice, and Jean; and her brothers, George and Laurence. Special thanks to the outstanding staff and residents of Gladys Manning Retirement Home for providing a happy and loving home there the past 5 years.
