The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit, Community Hospital, O'Leary, on Friday, April 24, 2015, of Greta Tuplin of Summerside, aged 74 years. Born in Knutsford on November 9, 1940, daughter of the late Guy and Jennie (Waite) Harris. Loving mother to Nancy (Barry) Gallant, Fortune Cove. Dear grandmother to Nicole, Bobby and Spencer and to great-grandchild Hannah. Greta is also survived by brothers and sisters Hazel (George) Buchanan, O'Leary; Glennis MacDonald, O'Leary; Wyman (Carol) Harris, Cascumpec; and Muncey (Leah) Harris, Knutsford; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, grandson Ryan Christopher. Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary, with visiting hours on Wednesday, April 29, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral will be held on Thursday in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Interment in Springfield West Baptist Cemetery at a later date.
