The death occurred at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre, Charlottetown, of Shirley Ruth Lynch, formerly of Foxley River, aged 78, wife of the late Leo J. Lynch. Born in Bloomfield Station on October 16, 1936, daughter of the late Vernon and Lena (Smith) MacInnis. Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours Sunday 2-5 p.m. and Monday until 10 a.m. then to St. Brigid’s Roman Catholic Church for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. The Ellerslie Legion Branch #22 will hold a service of remembrance for their late member at the funeral home on Sunday, at 1:45 p.m. Interment in St. Brigid’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery. In memory of Shirley, memorials to Hospice Palliative Care (West Prince) would be appreciated.
