The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Wednesday May 6, 2015 of Alfred (Freddie) Joseph Caissie at the age 76 of Higgins Road. He was born in St. Gilbert on June 11, 1938 son the late Dollor and Elezabeth (Thompson) Caissie. Alfred is survived by brother Martin Caissie and sister Aldena (Paul) Gallant. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, sister Adeline Poirier, brother-in-law Gérard Poirier and niece Paulette Poirier. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville, until Saturday May 9, then a funeral service at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Alfred's memory to the St. Philippe & St. Jacques Church Cemetery would be greatly appreciated.
