It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Eva Arsenault of Abram’s Village, age 75 years. The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, May 11, 2015. Eva was born in Abram’s Village on January 31, 1940, to her late parents Cyril and Imelda (Gallant) Arsenault. Beloved wife of Ernest and loving mother of Ricky, Brian (Pam), Daniel (Rachelle), Steven (Nancy) and Carol (Melvin). Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Tylor, Jake, Brooklin, Jesse, Brody, Lexie, Colby, Adam, Holly, and great-grandchildren Brielle, Lathan, Shaleagh and Grayson. Eva is survived by her brothers and sisters Edward (Loretta) Surrey, B.C.; Leo (Lynda) Uculete, B.C.; Lydia (Denis), Ont.; Diane (Leonard) Summerside; Dorise (Roy), Abram’s Village; and Aubin (Louise), Abram’s Village. Eva is predeceased by her parents, brothers Tilmon, Albert, sister Lilianne Cameron and niece Karen. Resting at the Evangeline Coop Funeral Home, Urbainville, until Thursday May 14, where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date.
