At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, with family by her side, on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, the death occurred of Marion Isabel Gallant (nee Coburn), age 81, of Charlottetown.
Lovingly remembered by her sons, James and David (Pauline) Gallant; daughters, Janice (Peter) McLaine and Sherri (Jack MacEachern) Gallant; grandchildren, Alex, Michael, Amy, Fallon and Stephen; great-grandchildren, Laura, Sarah, Corbin and Ava; and sister, Alice (Carl) MacDougall.
Marion was predeceased by her husband, Joseph "Sonny" Gallant; parents, David and Barbara Ann (nee Drane) Coburn; son, Michael; brother, David Coburn; and sister, Jenny Drane.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Saturday morning, then transferred to St. Dunstan's Basilica for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment will take place in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
Visiting hours will be held Friday from 4-8 p.m.
