It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elizabeth Margaret Piercey announces her passing on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, in her 89th year. Elizabeth leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Sylvia (James) Oake, Kay Jones, Lecetta Hewitt, John (Gloria) Piercey, Sharon (Lloyd) Forsey, Glenn Piercey, Brad Piercey, Rick (Sherry) Piercey, Cordell Piercey, her grandchildren: Diane, Paul, Paula, Monique, Dwayne, Tammy, Kerry, Jody, Tracey, Jacquline, Donna, Nicole, Sharlene, Jasmine, Jade, Jerrica, Keshia, Justin, Jessica, her 27 great grandchildren, and her 8 great great grandchildren. Elizabeth has been predeceased by her loving husband John Piercey, her brothers: Llewellyn, Walter, Herbert, George, Charles, Jack and her sister Elsie Snow. Elizabeth also leaves to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will be receiving relatives and friends from, on Friday, May 15, 2015, from the hours of 7-9 pm continuing on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 at Parsons Funeral Home and Chapel, 63 North Main in Deer Lake. The funeral service will take place Sunday, May 17th from The Salvation Army Citadel in Deer Lake, NL at 2:30 pm. Majors Wayne and Betty Pike will be officiating and the internment will follow at the Interdenominational Cemetery in Deer Lake.
