MAILLET, LEO-PAUL

Léo-Paul Maillet, 71, of Memramcook, NB, passed away on Thursday, May 14th, 2015, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB.
Born in Sainte-Marie, NB, he was the son of the late Hilaire and the late Madeleine (née: Maillet) Maillet.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Maillet worked as a heavy equipment operator. In the summer, he enjoyed camping and listening to music; in the winter he enjoyed the outdoors and spending weekends at the camp.
He is survived by his wife, Marguerite (née: DesRoches); four daughters: Joanne (Garth) Lewis, Dianne (Paul) Aube and Monique LeBlanc, all three of Dieppe and Lisa Cooper of Amherst, NS; three sons: Gary (Carol) LeBlanc and Paul (Andrée) LeBlanc, both of Memramcook and Charles (Veronica) LeBlanc of Shediac; two sisters: Rose-Marie Gallant (Don Logan) of Moncton and Linda Dewitt of Dieppe; two brothers: Roger and Jean-Guy, both of Dieppe; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one son, Raymond and also by three brothers: Raymond, Gérard and Normand.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Monday, May 18th, 2015 from 2 to 3 pm, followed by a reception.
Interment in the Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe, NB.
