Peacefully at the Provincial Palliative Care Center on Monday, May 19, 2015 of Frances Gamble (Carew) of Charlottetown and formerly of Tryon, age 97 years.
Beloved wife of the late Merton Gamble. Loving mother of Albert, Mabel (Jim) Simpson and Mae (predeceased). Grandmother of Wanda-Lee, Ginger-Lynn, James, Ian and Christopher and great-grandmother of Samantha, Jessie and Lucas. Sister of Jean Frizzell, Lloyd Carew, Harriet (Allison) Frizzell and Melvin (Carol) Carew. Sister-in-law of Lois Carew.
Predeceased by sisters, Louise Silliphant, Anna Rodd; brother, John Carew; sister-in-law, Margaret Carew; and brothers-in-law, Sam Silliphant, Wendall Rodd and Lloyd Frizzell.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Thursday from the Sherwood Church of Christ at 11 a.m. Interment in Tryon Peoples Cemetery.
