JACKSON, MARGARET ELIZABETH
The passing of Margaret E. Jackson of Fredericton, occurred on May 21, 2015 at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital, surrounded by her family. Born on October 5, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Linton and Olive (McCarthy) Finnie and wife of the late James Stewart “Stu” Jackson.
Margaret was employed with the Hartt Boot and Shoe Factory and later with K-Mart, from where she retired. One of her greatest loves was cooking, but more so when she could spend as much time with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survived by her children Paul Jackson (Nancy), Mary Beth Martin (Keith), Barbara Jackson; grandchildren Sandy (Jessica), Angela (Brad), Jesse, Katie, Jamie; great-grandchildren Journie, Jayten, Grace, Maisie; a sister Carol Wall; brothers Stan Finnie (Shirley), Don Finnie, Bob Finnie (Bonnie); numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by a sister Mary; brothers Irvine, Charlie, Jerry and Jack.
Resting at his Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at which time a celebration of Margaret’s life will be held with Canon Tom A. Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Scotch Lake Cemetery.
