The death occurred at his late residence, on Thursday, May 21, 2015, of John Edward Dalton, of Summerside, aged 63 years. John served as a Naval Officer with the Royal Canadian Navy. Born in Swift Current, SK, he was the son of the late Dr. Ormond and Rena (MacGillivary) Dalton. Survived by his aunts and uncles Gerard (Sonia), Barbara Ann Cronin, Helen MacDonald, Greg (Sharon) and George (Estelle); and by numerous cousins. Predeceased by uncles Michael Dalton, William MacGillivary, Edward Dalton; aunts Andrea Holland, Elizabeth Leger, Florence Gaudet, Mary Dalton, Ruth Murphy, Carolyn Dalton and Grace Ramsay. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. Interment in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. No visiting hours by personal request. Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Sturge-Weber Foundation would be appreciated.
