SMITH, BETTY
Betty Smith (nee Gardner), formerly of Prince William, New Brunswick, passed away May 2nd, 2015 at Fairview Manor, Almonte, ON. Betty was born May 13, 1931 in Montreal, QC, daughter of the late Irene and Bob Gardner.
Betty was predeceased by her loving husband of 55 years, Graeme Smith.
She is survived by her three children, Ian Smith (Judy Lougheed-Smith) Cork, NB; Andrea Smith, Carleton Place, ON; and Bruce Smith, Deer Island, NB; her grandchildren, Rian Lougheed-Smith (Chris Johnson) and great-granddaughter Maggie, Dawson City, YT; Kaelie Gaynor (Brandon) Tweedside, NB and great-grandson Stanley; her sister Kathy Jones (Ken) Cheshire, England; brothers in-law Bill Carnaghan (Judy), Markham, ON; and Lloyd (Chris) Winnipeg, MB; and many nieces and nephews.
Celebration of life will be held at the Riverside United Church of Canada, 6682 Route 102, Prince William, Sunday, June 7th at 2:00 pm. Reception will follow the service.
