It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marion MacDonald on May 26, 2015 at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in New Waterford, she was the daughter of the late James & Sarah (Layman) Campbell.
Marion is survived by her special son, Kenny Campbell (Cathy), Chad, Kenneth and Matthew Campbell; special daughter, Sherri Curley; grandchildren, Hanna and Garrett Curley, Mya Campbell; several nieces and nephews; sister, Winnie Gatza; sisters-in-law, Doreen and Ester MacDonald, Mary, Rena, Sue Campbell; brother-in-law, Bernie MacDonald.
Besides her parents, Marion was predeceased by her loving husband, Douglas; daughter, Cheryl Ann in infancy; brothers, Leo, Art, Danny and Gerald; sister, Dorothy Oliver; brother and sister-in-law, Cyril and Ann MacDonald; brothers-in-law, Alex MacDonald, Peter Gatza and Bunny Oliver.
Cremation has taken place. A funeral mass to celebrate Marion’s life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the Parish of Saint Leonard with Fr. Ray Huntley officiating, followed by a luncheon at the KOC, Plummer Avenue. All are welcome. Burial will be held in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
