WILFRED JOHN GROSS
September 15, 1934 - June 5, 2015
In the presence of his family Wilf passed away on June 5, 2015. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Theresa Gross and his brothers Henry, Anton (Eva), Carl and in laws Betty Gross (Eddy) and Paul Neumann.

Surviving is his loving wife of 60 years, Heddy and their children Belinda Tache (Richard), Tim Gross (Sherri), Bev Krahn (Terry) and Kate Kraft (Buddy). Also surviving are his cherished grandchildren Lyndsey Daniels (Jordan), Craig Tache, Sydney, Elliot, Samantha Gross, and Nicole Krahn.

Wilf is survived by his sisters Mary Simon (George- deceased –d.), Kay Weir (Dode- d.), Ann McLean (Gordon- d.), Phyllis Heisler (George-d.), Florence Gross, Vickie Zakreski (Julius), brothers Arthur (Norma), Don and in laws Marguerite, Arnie, Rose, Adolph, Gloria Neumann and many nieces and nephews.

Wilf was born in Moose Jaw, SK and raised on the family farm at Bayard SK. He farmed until he married Heddy in 1955 and they made their home in Moose Jaw. He transferred with CPR to Regina and worked as a policeman until he joined the Regina Fire Department in 1958. He retired as Captain in 1990.

Wilf was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who made many out of province trips visiting with family and completing many indoor and outdoor projects. He took great pride in his yard year round. Traveling to Hawaii and several other destinations were a highlight for Wilf and Heddy. He was a man of faith and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

A Funeral Mass and a Celebration of Wilf will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 12, 2015 at Holy Trinity Parish, 5020 Sherwood Drive, Regina, SK. A private interment will be held following the lunch at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, 815 Assiniboine Avenue E. Regina, SK.
