It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather and great –grandfather John D. Seniuk. John passed away June 5, 2015 at the Victoria Hospital, Prince Albert, SK. John was born May 20, 1923 in the Yellow Creek area. He was raised and attended school near Tarnipol, Saskatchewan. He started farming in 1943 and by the spring of 1947 had saved enough money to buy his own farm. Later that year he married Mary Fediash and they lived on the farm until 1952 at which time they moved into Prince Albert. In 1948 Dad started working as a carpenter for the Victoria Hospital and remained there until his retirement in 1988. Through those years he kept farming and did so until he was well into his eighties. Dad also took on other carpentry projects including building and installing cabinets and building and fixing things for the kids. He enjoyed fishing especially with his good friend Adam, even in the winter regardless of the weather. He liked to travel and took numerous trips to B.C. to pick cherries. In July 2010 Dad became a resident of Sunny Days Care Home and was a resident there until April of 2015. On April 10, 1938, Dad dedicated his life to Jehovah God and has been a faithful servant of His since that time.
