It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing, on June 9, 2015 of John Patrick Connors at the age of 81 years (formerly of Merasheen Island). He will be greeted in his new life by parents Tom & Mary J. Connors as well as his wife, Genevieve and his children Paddy and Terri. Leaving to celebrate his life are his children Bruce (Leslie) and their son Cory, John and his children Kayla and Veronica, Alvena (Kenny Mooney) and their children Fred, Michaela and Shenise, Cathy (Larry Hodder) and their children Jessica, Jelisa and Brandi, as well as son-in-law Alf Hatfield and his children Lisa and Evan, 5 great-grandchildren Lexi, Connor, Zelda, Genevieve and Jaxon, brothers Cyril(Rachelle), Tony (Judy), Tom (Helen),sister Mary (Gory Traverse), and a large circle of other relatives and friends including his caregiver Sylvia. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Thursday June 11, 2015 from 1:00 - 9:00. Funeral to take place on Friday June 12 at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Placentia.
