Chambers, I. Grace – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of I. Grace Chambers of Five Islands, Colchester County. Grace passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at the age of 100 at home with family by her side. Grace is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Smith, Five Islands; granddaughter, Sheila Croft, Truro; great-grandchildren, Melanie Faulkner (Corey), Truro; Sara Pinner (Phillip), Stony Plain, Alta.; Ryan Faulkner (Laura Lee), Truro; great-great-grandchildren, Keagan Faulkner, Truro; Caleb and Riley Pinner, Stony Plain, Alta. Grace was predeceased by her husband, Vincent; sisters, Duretta and Hazel. Nana Grace was an amazing person who never complained. She had a great sense of humour and always had kind words to say. Nana Grace touched the lives of so many people and those who knew her felt privileged to have known such an amazing person. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Don Rowe, to Lisa Weatherbee and her Truro Palliative Care Team. As well, special thanks to Dee and Kerrie for all their help to the family in their time of need. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Peniel United Church, Five Islands, Rev. Florence Antle-Brison officiating. Burial to follow in the Lower Five Islands Cemetery.
