Born in Summerside she was a daughter of the late Earl Vincent Rogers and the late Ruby Rogers. Mother of Annie (Red)) Mamayson, Borden-Carleton and Linda MacKenzie, Borden-Carleton. Sister of Dale (John) MacKenzie, Borden-Carleton; Kenneth Rogers (Patsy MacArthur), Summerside, and Valerie (Edmond) Rogers, Summerside. Also survived by sister-in-law, Mary Rogers, Borden-Carleton. Special great aunt to Tanner, Erica and Brande Warren, Borden-Carleton; Elliott Griffin, NS; Lleand and MacKenzie Sheltfield, Borden-Carleton; Tripp Paynter, Borden-Carleton; niece, Karen (Paul Noonan), Borden-Carleton; and nephews, John (Tanya) MacKenzie, Borden-Carleton and Earl (Tammy) MacKenzie, Borden-Carleton. Special friend of Pame Paynter and Arlene MacCormack. Predeceased by brothers, Ronald and Gregory and brother-in-law, Richard Doull. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora where a funeral service for family and close friends will be held on Monday, June 15, 2015 with Rev. Catherine Stuart officiating. Interment to follow in Cape Traverse United Church Cemetery. No visiting hours by personal request.
