NELSON, DAVID
The death of David Richard Nelson of Cambridge-Narrows, NB, age 75, occurred on Monday, June 15, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born on December 2, 1939 in Saint John, NB, the son of the late Herbert and Winifred (Allaby) Nelson.
David worked at the Atlantic Sugar Refinery for 30 years, retiring in 1994. He enjoyed doing some back yard mechanic work. He loved to hunt deer, moose and bear. Fishing was another outdoor sport that he enjoyed.
He is survived by his sister Clara Sabean of London, ON; sister-in-law Barbara Nelson of London, ON as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his brother Percy Nelson and brother-in-law Keith Sabean.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood's Funeral Home (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB. No public visitation or funeral service will be held. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
Donations in memory of David may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Saint John Regional Palliative Care Unit or to memorial of the donor’s choice.
