Sheila Ann Wright, 53, of Bridgetown passed away June 14, 2015 in the QEII Health Sciences Center, VG Unit, Halifax.
Born in Glace Bay, she was a daughter of Clarence Miller and the late Myrna (Locke) Miller. Sheila was a loving mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren, whom she truly loved. She was an avid gardener of both flowers and vegetables and used her excellent cooking skills to turn the bounty of her garden into her famous homemade salsa. Sheila's last job as the secretary at Bridgetown Regional High School was her dream job as she loved being around teenagers.
Besides her father, she is survived by her husband, David; sons, Mark O'Neill (Kelsey Pitt) of Yellowknife, Carter O'Neill (Sara) of Edmonton, Cameron O'Neill (Alisha McCorriston) of Fredericton; daughter, Margaret O'Neill of Inuvik; brothers, Glen Miller (Colleen) of Glace Bay, Paul Miller of Bedford; sister, Susan (Gary MacConnell) of Bedford; granddaughter, Ireland O'Neill of Edmonton; grandson, Hayden Gour of Yellowknife.
Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2015 with a service celebrating Sheila's life 3:30 p.m. Thursday, both from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown.
Donations in Sheila's memory may be sent to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
