Angus Alexander 'Angie'  MacDonald

We regret to announce the passing of Angie, also known to most as, Angie Johnnie Allan of Loch Lomond Road, Enon, at the Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, in the company of his good friends, Jerry MacQuin and Angus Grant.
Born on Feb. 10, 1928, Angie was the only child of the late Johnnie Allan and Helen (Barnie) MacDonald.
He was a dairy farmer, as well as road foreman and snow plow operator for the Department of Highways. In 1993, he retired from Municipal Ready Mix after many years of service. Angie was an adherent of Loch Lomond United Church and a founding member of the Loch Lomond Heritage Association and fire department.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Effie V. MacDonald, several cousins and many good friends.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Mary C. and her husband, Donald MacDonald.
Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Friday, June 19th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Calvin Presbyterian Church, Loch Lomond on Saturday, June 20 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Victor MacLeod officiating. Interment to follow at MacCuish-MacKeigan Cemetery, Lake Uist.
Memorials in memory of Angie may be made to the MacCuish-MacKeigan Cemetery, 32 Tain St., Sydney, N.S., B1P 1Y4 or to a charity of your choice.
