Date de naissance : 1er juin 1955

Lieu de décès : Calgary, Alberta, Canada
Date de décès : 13 juin 2015

Mark passed away peacefully at the Sarcee Hospice. He will be remembered by his wife Marissa (Mimi Green), daughter Dominique Ring (Jason) and son Ben (Ashley Thompson). He was predeceased by his parents Andre and Laurette in 1985 and his older sister Micheline in 1968. Mark was born and raised in Prince Albert SK. He graduated from St Mary’s High School in 1973. He attended Scarborough College in Toronto ON receiving his AME diploma. Thus began his career in aviation, a continuation of a lifelong fascination with aircraft. He met Mimi in 1977. They married in 1984 and began family life in Saskatoon. Mark started work with Norcanair in Prince Albert in 1974 and retired from Air Canada in 2013. He was a shift supervisor at age 21 then moved from maintenance to the NDT side of aviation in the late 1970’s. The family moved to Calgary in 1989 where Mark established the NDT department for Time Air. Mark led that shop for 23 years as it came under Canadian Airlines, then Air Canada ownership. Mark was a tireless worker. He was well respected in the industry for his knowledge and integrity, serving on both national and international committees. Mark loved motorcycles! He and Mimi toured extensively throughout Canada and the US on his beloved BMW R75/6. When kids came the bike was retired but never sold. Waskesiu Lake became their summer home. Mark loved boating, fishing, going to the beach, playing with his kids and golfing with his best friend Lionel. He later served on the board of the Waskesiu Cabin Owners Association wanting to give back to a place he loved. Mark will be remembered as a devoted family man, a good friend, neighbor and co-worker. Life’s work well done! We will remember you each time the sun sets over Waskesiu Lake. Mark’s family would like to thank Dr H. Mukiibi FP, Dr S. Congly FHMC hepatolgy clinic, Dr T. Murynka and the staff at the Sarcee Hospice. Your care and guidance through Mark’s journey has been invaluable. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, June 27, 2015 from Sacred Heart Cathedral, Prince Albert, with Father Matthew Nguyen officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of RIVER PARK MEMORIAL CHAPEL, Prince Albert, 306 764-2727, Colette Kadziolka, Funeral Director.
